Takeu Osako, Associate I, Food & Nutrition
Mr. Osako, a Toxicologist in the Food and Nutrition group, has been with Intertek Scientific & Regulatory Consultancy since 2020. He is in teams of Consumer Assurance. For Consumer Assurance team projects, he joined Toxicological Risk Assessment (TRA) team for internal TRA projects from Asian branches of Intertek, and he prepared a white paper of toxicological information for a substance. He is involved in the project preparation of notifications for review by global regulatory agencies and organizations including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada, the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA), and the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) including Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS). He also helped Health claim team for Japanese health claim projects since he is fluent in Japanese.
