Ray A. Matulka, Ph.D., Director – Safety and Regulatory, Food & Nutrition
Ray Matulka leads the Animal Feed Ingredient Team within the Safety & Regulatory Assessment Team. Based in the United States, Ray has extensive experience in working with U.S. authorities to obtain Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) status for food and animal feed ingredients in the U.S. or by obtaining feed ingredient regulatory compliance through Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) feed ingredient process.
Ray has authored numerous original research manuscripts on the safety of food and feed ingredients on the behalf of clients.
Ray works with clients to develop regulatory strategies and feasibility assessments for obtaining compliance of new (and new uses of) food and feed ingredients, color additives, and dietary supplement ingredients.
