Carolina Venditti, Ph.D., Senior Manager II, Health Claims & Clinical Trials, Food & Nutrition
Dr. Venditti is a Senior Manager II within the Health Claims & Clinical Trials Team of the Food and Nutrition group at Intertek Health Sciences Inc. Dr. Venditti joined the team in 2014 and acts as a scientific advisor to national and international food and dietary supplement industries on scientific and regulatory matters.
Dr. Venditti applies her expert knowledge of global health claim substantiation standards and her proficiency in the conduct of systematic reviews to critically evaluate whether a body of scientific evidence substantiates health claims or structure/function claims on foods or dietary supplements; she provides critical interpretation of the strengths and gaps in the scientific evidence. Dr. Venditti also provides support with the review and/or development of clinical trial protocols and the subsequent placement of the trials with appropriate clinical research organizations.
Dr. Venditti holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical & Molecular Sciences and a Master of Science in Anatomy & Cell Biology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Dr. Venditti has presented at several scientific meetings and has authored several scientific publications.
